I used this app in the early 2000’s and liked it, but it broke with OS updates and it appeared to no longer be supported. Seeing this newer version I again made the purchase in Dec 2015. At purchase it is broken. The radar image display fails to function. No image is displayed in the radar window. It was a primary criterion for my selection of a weather app, since many do not include it. The radar image to be displayed is designated within the app using a url (and can be changed). If I paste the same url used by this app (that provided with the app) into a web browser, the radar image is displayed fine. So it is an app problem. Alternative radar image urls that I tried also fail to display within the app. I contacted the developer and received no response within the week. A theft of $0.99. The temp displayed on the dock icon also sometimes fails to update to match that diplayed within the app itself.

Design is a little rough around the edges, but this definitely works and doesn’t crash. I’m using it on two Macs, both running El Capitan and have been using it for the past 4-5 years at least. Also, did you all see how it costs $1?
